Cadzand-Bad - 2 km
Cadzand-Bad is one of the most beautiful seaside resorts in the area, with a modern marina and the most luxurious hotels and apartments in Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. Cadzand-Bad has an extensive boulevard directly behind the dunes. The wide, 11 km long sandy beach is crowded in the summer months and is located in a beautiful dune area. The beach is known for the shark teeth that you can find there. And after a lovely walk on the beach you can enjoy a snack and drink in one of the modern beach pavilions.
Sluis - 7 km
A day trip to Sluis is always a good idea! Shops and restaurants are open 7 days a week. The unique combination of the many unique shops (often family businesses) and the restaurants make Sluis a Burgundian shopping town! Even if you don't go shopping but take a beautiful walk over the Sluise city walls, you will enjoy it here. On the route you will come across 4 old city gates that you can walk through, also very nice with children! The entire ramparts route is approximately 7 km. But there are some points where you can cut off the route to enjoy a nice coffee or a fresh draft beer. You can climb the tower of the Belfry on the Groote Markt, the tower is part of the museum. Knokke-Heist - 6 km
Stroll along the boulevard and enjoy the beach, the many beach clubs along the boulevard and shops. Knokke is known as a fashionable seaside resort, the jet set likes to stay here and you regularly spot a Ferari or Lambourghini. Knokke is easy to reach from the campsite, you can also get there in no time by bike on the cycle path along the Zwin!
Damme - 17 km
Damme is one of the smallest and at the same time one of the most picturesque towns in Belgium. The town hall, the Onze Lieve-Vrouwekerk and the Sint-Janshospitaal and a number of old mansions are the proud remnants of a rich past. Located in the green polders, the town is the ideal base for an invigorating cycling or walking tour. Every 2nd Sunday of the month there is a book market in Damme.
Brugge - 30 km
Bruges is one of the most popular and romantic city trip destinations in Belgium. For years, thousands of tourists have flocked to the historic city center, which has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2000. The beautiful Beguinage, the Godshuisen, the Belfry, old shopping streets, a tour in a horse-drawn carriage or a cruise on the Brugse Reien. You will be amazed at the amount of beautiful places and buildings. In the historic buildings you will find numerous museums (including Chocolate Museum and Friet Museum). Bruges is known for chocolate and lace making, so you will see chocolate or lace work in many shop windows!
